WHO'S WHO
Based between Paris & Brussels, Michel Figuet fell in love with photography at the age of 12.
After a year of medical studies, he moved to Paris in order to learn about the medium with some of the greatest photographers. Co-founder of the well known "Imaginoir" B&W lab, he was in charge of processing the work of Jean-Loup Sieff , Peter Lindbergh, Sebastiao Salgado, Sarah Moon, and many others.
His work has been published in a wide range of high end magazines including Vogue, Elle, Elle Decor, Ideat, Optimum, L'Officiel, Marie-Claire, Première, AD…in France, USA, UK, Russia, Japan, Italy, Germany, India…
He collaborated along with brands such as Paul Smith, Karl Lagerfeld, Valentino, Gucci, Zegna, Etam, Air France, Virgin, Universal, Sony…
He experiments with different aspects of photography: Portraits, Fashion, Landscapes, Architecture, Design, and is developing different projects on Fine Arts.
Publications in several books: Room with a view / Assouline, Traveler Photographs / Assouline, House by Diane Keaton / Rizzoli, Notes by Paul Smith, Timeless Interiors / Beta Plus, Modern Mountain Hideaway / Beta Plus
He exhibited in galleries: Colette, OFR, Joyce Gallery, Maison Kitsuné NYC or sold at auction at Sotheby's.
